System Requirements

Build Requirements

To build the console, you will need Ant 1.5.1 or higher and JDK 1.4 installed on your system.

You will need your OJB repository.xml file(s). No special modifications are required. In addition, you will need your classes or jars that support your OJB objects. The only special requirement on these classes is that they implement java.io.Serializable.

Deployment Requirements

To deploy the current version of the OJB Console, you will also need a Servlet Engine that supports JDK 1.4, Servlet 2.3, and JSP 1.2 on install on your system. Depending on demand, a future version of the OJB Console may support earlier versions of the JDK. To download a compatible servlet engine, try Tomcat 4.
